Having 6 weeks attachment here in yfc, 8.30 to 5 everyday except monday.
past 2 weeks alr and i'm feeling boreeeed. My main purpose to have attachement in yfc is to fly more often and to complete my PPL asap. But obviously with the extremely irritating haze from the burning of the indonesian forest and incoming monsoon season, it's really difficult.

Had the first shock for me when i was taxying back from bay alpha after my solo. My a/c rpm was panting, sorta like engine rough running. We taxy to yankee and along the way at w3, we cleared the engine at 2000rpm and close the throttle, and the engine died. Tried to restart one time but couldn't. In the end gotta be towed back under the hot sun.

On the way back i thought abt the consequences, this could be really my last time to fly ct4. They might gonna push my coursemate and me back to pipers. I'm really down today, the thought of it makes me lose my mood.

Things aren't going well for me recently, and i know as much as i hope for the best, it gonna remain like this for awhile.
But i'm still gonna push, i will make things better for us.
Really sorry.

3 exams down! one exam left :D can't wait for exams to be over, seems like that for every exam.
The feeling of having to mug my head into the night and go to sleep thinking "tmrw's exam" is absolutely !!!!!!!

Haven flown for 2 weeks, gotta start chiong flts during my attachment xD all the best to everyone! :D

2am into my birthday morning :D hahaha thanks for all the wishes! I shall make a wish later before i sleep.

Recent weather is completely down, today's flight got cx again, it's always either rain or haze. very stupid zz. close to 1 month since i flew. 2 more ct4 guys got sent back to piper- yfc gonna sell away ct4 after my batch. Only 9V-BRB able to fly now, BPA down, and only left me and my coursemate in it now. We must not make any red flag to it, just one red flag to it might cause us to be booted back to piper too.

I can't imagine this happens. I have to fly more often after exams. Exams in one week time, and i just started. zzz.

It's been THREE WEEKS SINCE I FLEW! zzz stupid haze lazing around the airspace.
Having exams in 2 weeks time, and i haven settle down for exam mood. Before every exam i tell myself got to study like 3 weeks before, but it never happens lol.

Sch's dam boring, i guess if i can turn back time, i wouldn't have chosen DASE. I would have went on to aeronautical engineering. And looking at this class of mine, I dunno what to say abt. Can't find a true friend here that can last way long till after graduation.

Anyway I gonna 'work' in yfc for itp! Okay la I shall say the truth, obviously i'm going there to fly more often. But whatever, I'm still gonna have to do some work there. Still at sortie 24 and I MUST complete FHT by mid november. That's 3 months from now, and it will be a miracle if i managed to do so.

I believe in miracles. 99% hardwork, 1% miracle.
And this 1% makes a big difference to me, my life.

Flew 9V-BPB for 2 hours ytd! Just finished overhaul and break-in for engine. Finally what seemed like after 2 months! Did sector recce with tan sk, he showed me exactly what landmarks is at the points of our training area. This will definitely helps me alot, needn't have to refer to GPS much hahaha. He taught me how to do high angle of banks while maintaining height without having to refer to PFD. And spent the remaining hour talking bout airforce and operation red flag xD

Came back from my penang trip a week ago on 14th july. Really enjoyed it alot! if only it could last longer. Still typing out the post for the trip, gonna take a few days more xD For pics and vids refer to my fb :D

tmrw's last day of exam finally! been waiting for this day since i was borned hahaha.
It wasn't recently till i see many things in a new light.

Classmates and friends I thought will last for a long way didn't.
Things i didn't think I would be able to do, but yet i did.

How are decisions made? From the mind or the heart?
Along the way, there will be some friends i will lose.
and i will learn to live on myself, and make new ones.

Had my GH flight in my piper today :D went through area works and circuits.
was a real hot morning, until we went close to clouds where it's so much cooler.
Hopes ct4 repaired soon. I must pass FHT by november!

been through hell for my exams for the past 5 days, studying and studying for 5 hours non-stop before exams, forcing myself to go on. Cheers redbull!
one more exam coming up. the killer one. something like A maths. zzz.

Gonna have my 4d3n nav flt to penang/KL on sat! :D CAN'T WAIT! HAHAHA i'm gonna go there with age 18 and back to 17 when i returned. ^^^

BPA down, cowling dropped onto the floor, and the apparantly the engine attempted to force it's way out too. Many people seems to be telling me that I had made the wrong choice to convert to CT4. makes me feel as though I had done something wrong, the guilt. And it gets worst each time.

But I was prepared for these. Before I decided to convert, i know the shortcomings i have to accept. Stay focus on my goal. I got to be strong, and push against the feeling of guilt. I must not make a decision i will regret.

I hope BRB becomes operational soon and get my up there again. I want to get in action soon.

Did badly for my 2nd glide ytd, was alittle dreamy and tired in the beginning..
then compound error and I got confused at base, slow in putting flaps, keep coming down high on finals.

Solo was better, started reflecting then did something to correct my mistakes.
Gonna do better for my last glide coming up next.

Flew my first glide today! Kept thinking "I must make it, I will make it"
pretty exciting having to land without power, but i'm having kangaroos landings :(
on finals not very stable, and call final only when on final. Sometimes i transmit on base =.=

Exams coming soon zzz, the anti climax of life. Gonna spend my hols studying instead of having fun. Faster come, faster clear. Simple as that.

was supposed to fly with my piper primary instructor ytd, but stupid mist/fog!!!
sigh guess got to wait for nxt flight again.. ct4 servicing might be delayed, not sure why..

gonna have critical reasoning skills CA1 tmrw, and OOP test after it. and rt oral on saturday.
Need to be prepared for everything.

Classmates starting to form groups for FYP, and ppl starts to show their characters. Some ugly some good, needs to be wary and pick the right ppl. Very competitive.

GH in Piper

Had my piper flight yesterday! was having Cat1 before my wave but luckily it cleared.
The piper rudders so soft! glad that I haven't forgotten my checks too haha..

departed to alpha, did stallings and slow flight then hold at pierce reservoir for a long time. Reminded me of my flights in piper =) had to adapt to the controls again, felt alittle different..
Then we came back for normal circuits and flapless to land.

got to admit it was pretty hot in the cockpit haha, kept sweating..
but it didn't matter :D

I dun understand lectures.. zz 2nd yr not fun man, nothing much hands-on, still the same old thing we study in yr one ._.

alpha got send for 2-3 weeks of servicing, won't be able to fly for quite some time.. this means more mental flying... scenarios tend to fade after sometime if i dun fly for long time, making it difficult to mental fly. In the meantime got to study for rt oral and book a slot with my instructor.

Training up for NS. Gonna do 2.4km run, gym and swimming. Way to go!

School started, back to normal routine..
very bored at times, only the aircraft related modules are interesting, esp battul's lessons!
I want to hear more more stories from him hahaha..

Moved on to flapless circuit, the 'picture' is different from the normal circuits, took me awhile to get used to it. 2 more flights to perfect it. Mental fly, and practise many times on sim..
This sat is the PPL graduation ceremony, never been to one before.. Wonder when will mine be O.O

Reading up on "From boys to men", a book about introduction and guide on BMT.
Very interesting, caught my eye when I was in Times bookstore haha.

Had my solo this morning at 0830 in the morning, had dual circuits first, then 1 solo circuit.
Solo was fast though, felt like my first solo haha. This is my second first solo btw.. well, but I rmb being more nervous for my first solo xD

Looks as though it's gonna rain, but didn't rain.
Saw what nyang and the rest prepared for me, rotten milk, fermented and decomposed things omg.. I'm gonna be a stink bomb..

But yea, solo should be postponed to sunday I hope. I'm nervous, but I'm ready.
Had CAAS Radiotelephony Exam this morning, then went to apply job at terminal 3 Swensens! =) I don't even need to go for interview! Straight into training nxt week!

Gonna have to juggle lots of things from now on, friends, studies, work, and flying. Stress and more stress, to keep my mind filled.

After 7 conversions, I'm more confident of my handling, but my landings need improvement.. lots of mental flying..

Had Course 161 & 162 cert giving ceremony today.. The cert looks really nice, met up with my coursemates and ex-coursemates. Felt like the same, as though I'm back in bfc times again.. Never failed to laugh with batman around haha.. Then went "Ang Moh" Kio for movie, lunch and dinner with them. Street fighter doesn't really appeals me afterall.

I can't be my old self anymore, if I want to survive my flights.
I cannot be easily hurt anymore. Maybe I'm too used to my ex-instructor..
I will need toning up for my character.

Being sensitive is not good, got to take it off me.

CAT 1: Lightning Risk

This is one fierce storm seen in syfc today @1700 . Taken in synchronisation from the left hangar to the right hangar.

At the left hangar, you can see that the far left towards Whisky 1, 2 & 3 is raining, and another section of the sky is not raining.

At the mid, the clouds has many different shades of white and grey, somehow the pics make it looks brighter..

At the right hangar it looks darker.

This is one fierce cat. Flying is ceased for 4th wave.

G LOC!

Flight was changed to 1st wave instead of 3rd wave. Beginning of flight was a little bit of a disaster, got scolded as I made my overhead climb to bravo. Mistakes here and there.. I have to revise through my SOP again. Wat a stupid mistake for departure.. zz.

A little scoldings here and there during my flight, but much lesser compared to my departure, many ways to improve still. During rejoin, I requested for High Gs, and thus we did one 5G followed by 2 6Gs . Guess wat, I had G loc for the 5G ! It was like rapid onset, from 1G to 5G is abt 1 to 2 sec. Forgotten to keep my breathing pace even, and next thing i know, I went into "Loss Of Consiousness" (LOC). But the funny thing is that my eyes are opened throughout my G loc, and I could feel my head dropped forward. I tried to force my head up but I became "lazy". Is this G loc or wat? My vision was just a little dark than usual, but I can see clearly still.

Then I requested for more Gs again, and there goes two 6Gs turns, each lasting around 6 seconds each. But I didn't G loc! was really happy! hahaha, I want to test my limit! I want to push more.. man, 9G must be really really tough.. I need to have a stronger willpower. I will need to learn how to lock my muscles too! All i did during the turns was just to focus on breathing quickly and evenly, totally forgot to lock my muscles.. I need guidance on locking muscles!

Can't wait to pull Gs again, how far will my body and mind push my limit?

Went to airport at 6am ytd to send a few my friends off to brunei, checked in at 7.45 and final kisses and gdbyes to them.. Then walked around with sa, explored terminal 3 and she set down for breakfast at popeyes, and mine, in the toilet.. (Stomachache, can't help it xD I ate nothing though lol )

Went back home, watch tv and off again to wild wild wet! Most noticably was the lifeguards. There was so many female lifegaurds, and only a few were men lol. Wonder why haha.. Some of them looked even younger than me.
Then went to play arcade. Tiring day, and had sunburns, but i dun mind, I want to be more tanned! hahaha..

Oh yea and CX on saturday, zzz.. then camped for 4th wave but still can't. Bad weather. But no worries, I'm flying on wed! =) 3rd wave again.. lol...

Finally flying tmrw 3rd wave.. Been like 3 weeks since i flew..
But after exams i feel so bored for this 3 whole weeks.. omg totally living life so meaningless..
Got to find job, zz.. but I need SUPER flexible hours kind! I want to go out.. rotting rotting.. zz..
hope i get more flights! Keep my busy for the hols..

I'm starting to hate holidays. Super meaningless zz..
But this sets me thinking.. After this hols, it's going to be a whole new yr, year 2.
What should I expect? My focus and belief systems ought to change?
Sometimes i hate myself for thinking so far, sets me apart from people. Make me feel unrealistic.

wondering when's my overseas nav flight going to be.. Hope i can go indonesia haha..It's something new for me, can't wait haha..

Went for ACE armed forces career experience event at Taka ytd night.. acty didn't intend to go, somehow rilvia managed to convince us to go lol.. We were studying CT4 systems in the morning anyway..

Went out to watch "Slumdog" today..
was totally taken aback after the show, really surprised me alot.
It's a movie of reflection upon self, maturity and self-enlightenment.
Made me realised how fortunate we are, living all in a stable and secure country.
Saw for my self, the sprit of long-lasting love. Things you would do to any extent for your love.
But i believe that every guy would do the same thing to protect his love.

Learnt some lessons today:
Love is not about possession. Sometimes it's about being mature, being able to let go, and when she's happy, you'll feel happy too. Not easy, sacrifice has never been easy, but there's a right time for everything.

Heard that PB is gonna have a 6 weeks overhaul..
and PA pee fuel.. THAT'S OMG!
Exams JUST ENDED! AND I WANT TO FLY AGAIN! Need to rush up on all my lost time.
Pls pls pls dun let the ct4s spoil... repair repair repair..

Maybe if i put down my expectations, life will be more happy..

Went out with my friends for some fun after exams today, but i did not expect myself to enjoy today soo much..
It was a really really really fun day =) but tiring too haha..

I feel so alive, so wonderful..
Everything felt sooo real..
Needn't have to smile under false pretence =)
Shouted so happily when playing daytona till my chest hurts and throat sore..
drank water chestnut, hopes it helps ^^

Was the first time i felt so happy in years..
truely happy, can't rmb being so happy like that before except in sec sch running around with nick xD haha..
I've released all my worries, everything I've held in my heart..
felt so so awaken..

Though i wish i can live life so happily like today,
but i guess it would not be possible..
just wish i will be able to be so happy again..
=)

Just want to thank you and the rest so much for today..
made me really happy..
though I know my spirits will dampen after today,
but i will keep this happy day in my heart..

Conv 2 today.. did Straight and Level,abit of Climbing and descending.. and turning..
S&L was pretty easy.. I'm sure I will be able to fly accurately after 1 or 2 sorties more.. Did LOADS OF PULLS AND Gs today.. when my new instructor showed me all the different ground features.. Wing over, diving vertically down and then pull up till vertically up.. I swear the G meter went all the way up till 4Gs.. and had a little bit of tunnel vision.. But that's me without flexing my thigh and stomach muscles!

Wondering how's my ex-instructor.. Hope I can get a full account of way happened to him.. Hopefully i can pay him a visit soon.. Recover quick =)

Haven been flying for like 2-3 weeks =/
Feeling a pretty high level of stress already.. But enduring all the way through..
Exam's in 2 weeks time.. Racing against time, I NEED TO STUDY!

And I hate my gems like crap! totally useless omg.. with stupid equations which doesn't concern me in any ways zz.. Seems like I really do need to retake gems again...

Why are you being cold to me sometimes?
And warm to me at times?
It's like.. we can only have fun and laugh together whenever you're engaging and easy to talk to..
I hope.. that one day we will look at each other and not feel a barrier between us.
Remember the half of my life I have left? I'm losing it soon.. I'm getting all the shit and criticism ever since i entered ct4. I might be kicked out of ct4. I'm losing confidence I've placed in myself.
Can I talk about kede? Can I understand wats happening between you both?
I'm thinking of you everyday. I'm falling without support soon.

Today's flight was... unexpected.
My taxying has gone haywire again. Oh my god I have absolutely no idea that the right rudder of BPA is so DAM HARD OMG! the left one was much easier to press..
I'm getting all the comments about my height from the instructors.. I might not be able to stay in ct4 much longer.. if I dun prove myself in taxying by nxt conver sortie. I swear it's not my height that's causing my bad taxying.. The right rudder jst like stone... after I turned left, I pressed the right ruddder, and after awhile then the aircraft turn right.

I don't want to let myself down. Don't want to let my instructor down. I must stay on, I must taxy slowly this time, and press right rudder earlier before a right turn. My last chance to make things for my to continue ct4.

My flight in the air was pretty fun.. ALL the Gs were addictive, tho we didn't pull much... I absolutely luv the PFD, something like the HUD haha.. I'm starting to feel the aircraft.. and for flapless I didn't really have to worry much afterall.. I still can see the attitude after rounding up.. like a little less than an inch below the horizon. And having a canopy is so much easier to look around! =) *Not that I don't like the piper* Everything else was managable. Felt the stress jst like when I was flying the first few sorties in piper. But it's managable, and I know I will be able to handle it after a few more flights in it. The only thing which I missed piper is my ex-instructor teaching me and the absolute full feel of the piper. I believe by the time I fly till circuits for the ct4, I will have the same full feel of it too. I have to continue working hard.

Was taken for CT4E checks by my senior today.. man there's really alot of new things I have not learn before! but the checklist is managable.. I need time to have it all memorized. I wan it memorized before my first conversion sortie! but I left like just a week.. and my teachers just keep stacking the homework as though there's a race to see who gives the most assignments! zz..

but the ct4e was really awesome! can't wait till I fly it! =)
and my new instructor has been changed to Raman!! this was really really sudden!
I can't think of any reason why my instructor has been changed.. and he has really high expectations.. I need to get to the CT4 asap again.. I need to run thru all the checks again.. omg I'm rushing against time once again..

Got in CT4E! with Siva being my new instructor!
I'm definitely going to miss baldev teaching and flying with me..
It may just be 16 sorties with him.. But it's a time which I learnt alot, work the hardest and commit myself to the highest extend..

now I'm in CT4E, I will continue to give my best. I want to achieve the best. I will make my instrutor proud, that he has never made the wrong choice to put me to ct4..
My instructor will always be my instructor =)

School's getting boring day by day.. the so-thought poly life will be interesting is SO UNTRUE OMG.. Maths maths maths and MORE MATHS OMG! my teacher jst seems to think we can understand every single word she said and jst rocket thru the topics! and the exercises she give like tissues! zzz.. not only maths, the rest of the subjects jst really NOT INTERESTING!.. like secondary school..

another 6 more weeks till exams, and after exams is another 2 months hols.. omg man..

well I've asked today if it's due to my flying performances that's why he didn't recommend me for ct4..

thank god it's not due to that.. can't help but feel disappointed for the past few days thinking that my flying performances isn't good enough for it..

So the ball is in my hands.. Should i take ct4 or stay in piper?
ct4's is faster and more thrilling, but more tiring(I don't mind).
but my instructor will have to be changed (I really mind), and i have no idea who exactly will be my instructor.. and about it that ct4 breaks down easily.. but i really do wan to fly ct4.. and I want to get the best of flying..

if only my instructor stays the same and teach me ct4, that would be so perfect things can't be any more perfect. If I can't make it for ct4e, will my sir take me back?

Flying tmrw! with my flight suit! :D but without boots and nametag...
will make do with black shoes then.. haha..
guess I will ask my instructor if it would be better for me in ct4.. based on my flight records and skills..
not that I dun like the piper, but it's jst that I'm being too.. ambitious? and quite worried too actually.. in the airforce for bwc training, we will be flying the pc21, which is a flight-stick controlled acrobatic plane, somewhat similar to the ct4...

and if I do get my ppl, I will skip agc training, which trains us to fly the ct4.. so the big jump from a control-column controlled plane to a flight-stick controlled plane might take me sometime to get use to..

and bwc got higher expectations for the pilot trainees.. which means I can't take too long a time to get use to the flight-stick..

Oh well.. hope I will be able to enter ct4.. if not the best flying award can say byebye... and I really want to be an airforce pilot.. guess I'm going to need all the luck and flying skills to get me thought all the way.. To be a pilot.

went to collect my flight suit today, but did not managed to. have to collect it only on tuesday.. argh well..

finally saw my name up on the PPL board! =) but, well.. it's abit too high up instead of the last 5 rows.. today, when I was asked why didn't I enter Ct-4E, i didn't know how to answer.. Am I, not good enough? Did I not hit my instructor's expectations?
I was really happy when I entered PPL, but actually all along, I had a secret desire.. I really wanted to fly the CT-4E.. I wanted to be the best, the best pilot so that I could fly it..

But then, if I would be able fly it, it would mean that my instructor has to be changed too. How would you feel? if you are trained and nurtured for so long by your instructor, but because jst becuz you want to be the best, you have to change ur instructor.. I don't want to disappoint my instructor, neither do I want to disappoint myself. Furthurmore, I can communicate well with my instructor, and I really like him as my primary instructor.

I don't want to disappoint him, so I didn't request for ct-4e today, even tho I was asked to. But, if my instructor offer me, I will take it. I want to be the best, I won't let go of any chance which will get me trained for the best. but maybe I'm not good enough, so he didn't offer me.. but if he does, I will..

I want to get the Best for flying award.. really ambitious aren't I.. I will aim for it, no matter what.

COMPLETED FIRST SOLO! and entered PPL ^^
I'm just so loving everything today, my solo landing was really, the softest i can ever do.. just a slight little "touchdown" sound and I've landed! I LOVE OSCAR NOVEMBER! =)
Was pretty nervous for my solo flight ytd nite, kept waking up in the mid of the night.. But, the solo was acty really fast.. Its like time passes so fast for the solo circuit.. and my first solo pin looks so cool and nice! =)

I will continue to work hard, and fly hard.. My committment will be shown. Flying! :D

I dunno why, but I still feel strongly for you..
what is love? is it supposed to be painful but yet.. I still want to be with you no matter how tiring or painful?
I thought that after our "breakup", I had stopped feeling for you. And even if I don't, the pain will.. But.. even before school starts, I started to think about the past.. and slowly, my feelings started to creep back to me..
Then I realised that the pain just numb my feelings only..
There's only a few qns, which I'm really lost about..

YES I'M FLYING OSCAR NOVEMBER TMRW! =)
it's jst so wonderful about it! I rmb it was my first few sorties on november and I already like it alot! hahaha.. somehow it just gives me confidence, despite all the nervous edges and irregular heart beat every few seconds..

AND I'M FLYING TOGETHER WITH NYANG, BOTH FIRST SOLOS! It's really nice to have a good mate to go though with you thick and thin, DUNKS AND DIRT AND FLOUR AND ROTTEN EGGS AND GOD-KNOWS-WHATELSE!!!

Gdluck to both of us tmrw! Really hope we both will enter PPL together.. I'm not going to let go of flying no matter what. We've gone through stress and pressure, survived them and coping well.. I just hate that something bad might happen to any of us.. After all the hardwork and effort.. No matter what, I'm just going to do my best, and do my best landing ( "Land on main wheels first, not 3-point landings" , "Don't over-rotate" , "Apply left rudder when thottle close" , "Anticipate" , "Take note of speed in reference to my aimpoint" )

Christmas is coming closer! Pity there won't be snow flakes filling the city with their ever so beautiful scenery.. And there's school coming right up soon, dunno if I should be glad or sad. It means lesser time to fly, and more lectures that some really dun make sense for human.

Another year is gonna pass soon, it seems really fast. 1 year in poly is enough to make me feel the pain, two more to go. Not that everything abt poly is painful, there are some happy moments too, and some sad.

I'm determined to make my nxt 8 or 10 weeks of school happy and enjoyable, don't make me disappointed or regret.On the brighter note, I have finished 3 books (Twilight, New moon, Eclipse) prior to christmas! And on to my forth book, Breaking Dawn.

I have to really comment on Stephenie Meyer, she's just too good an author.. really felt as though I can see all the things happening in my head. (I'm not crazy)

I believe most readers wish that such romance would be real and happening to them. I wish so too I admit, but it isn't really easy to find one that is willing to be so compromised for you, it takes alot of effort, and fate. I've been putting much effort, but I guess fate isn't on my side yet haha. I personally think Edward Cullen is the one for Bella, and vice versa. He's a lucky guy in the story, I half wish I was him.

Flew circuits ytd, 2nd circuit infact..
It's not as simple as take off and landing, so many more things to take note along the flight. The starting part I screwed up abit, doing all the lips service without actually doing it.. (didn't know why i pressed the annunciator lights on the runway =.=.. supposed to check it's off )
Got nervous for the starting part, didn't fly accurately.. till we landed and prepared for take off again.. then I reflected for somewhat like 4-6 mins, and took off again.

AND OMG MY LANDING IS LIKE omfg =.= Hate it when I do things wrongly, my landing got to improve man.. But I think that it's the most fun part of the flight! I better land properly for the nxt circuit. No more balloon-ing, no more bouncing on runway. Just feel dam shameful when the ATC sees my ugly landing.. ZZZ.. Gonna improve man!

Sim 8 nxt on tues, EMERGENCIES! Still finding out about stuck throttle. So many things not in frc, need to find new sources for them.. Then maybe going out on tues.. Hope we can go for the movie.. if not.. I'll fit in some other activities.. =/

F16 Famil Visit

wokeeee up really early today at 6 to go to yfc for F16 Familiarisation Visit to the 140 Squadron at Tengah today! was pretty shag and draggy in the wee hours, and sat a rather cosy bus to tengah airbase.

The moment we reached there, we could hear the P&W turbofan engines of the F16, and saw them took off.. God it was really loud, but that didn't matter! It was jst so awesome man! Saw the facilities and places around the home of the 140 Squadron. It was really nice and cold! Saw Chieng and another yfc guy strapped into the G suits and their helmets.. Man, I would have traded in anything jst to get myself in that!

We accompanied them to the hangar and watch them do their external checks and strapping-in-procedures, taxy out to the runway.. but it was a pity we couldn't see them takeoff. Then had a walkabout the F16C single-seater as our sir told us about the parts of the jet. It's really awesome man, that took me off my tiredness!

Hope I will be posted and fly with the 140 Squadron!

Exams finally over! haha, should it be a gd thing? During the mst week it's all about studying and studying like a robot.. now it reaches at hols makes me feel.. bit bored. Hope we manage to go out as a class the nxt time..

One gd thing is that I can fly more! Booked every wave of everyday.. Need to do loads of circuits and circuits, needa perfect my landing.. I realise I tend to some sort of 'waver' on my approach at like 200 feet.. left right left right, round up then hold off, and touch down ON the centreline but not along it -.- I need to control the plane better. Confidence should do the trick.

Thinking lots of things in the past. Thats why ppl do when they're bored.. or so they said. Can you imagine when you retire.. oh god it really gets bored..

Things going rough for me this sem.. hardly able to take time off for anything else.. And I'm not having sufficient sleep too.. zz.. This sem is complete hell! totally full of formulas for all the major subjects! really want to take a rest.. go on a holiday or something...

Although time's rushing like hell for me, somehow my mind and heart is still able to take it and think bout other stuffs instead.. I dunno wat's wrong with me haha.. (Got to be my mind xD) Sometimes, I feel as though I need someone, the kind who's able to understand wat I'm going through.. I want to depend on someone else, but yet I don't want too. I realised that I'm really a loser who's always depending on others in the past, but flying taught me to be independent, and not feel weak.. Without flying, I think I will go crazy with the world crashing down in me, at certain points of my life.

It's really tough to only have yourself to depend on, and not having true friends beside you. I don't want to depend on others, but I'm starting to feel tired, walking my path on my own. I'll force myself on, becuz that's what I've been and am training for. I really should have hated you isn't it? I wish I had, then.

Today was one of the best flight I've ever flew! =) hahaha, SORT OF landed on my own.. Really really fun haha.. And thanks to my instructor, I was able to experience G force turns! okay maybe it was like around 2-3G, BUT IT'S FUN! haha.. On to circuits next, going to do my best! and rush for CT-4E if I'm capable for it..

Whoo I've completed the first peee tutorials like in... 4 weeks? Finally managed to discipline my mind to get down to study and put other things aside.. Have still got tons of tutorials from DE and Maths which I want to do, but NO IDEA how to do.. zzz.. With much willpower I will need to tame my heart for the nxt few weeks.. and things aren't going any better to have my home as a home.. Hate studying at home!

Went for compass test with batman, nyang and shiok.. was really muscle-straining for my arms and fingers since I gripped the joystick real hard to have absolute control and careful manoeuvring. Lots of thinking and multi tasking.. Mental calculations and many stuffs at once.. Well, I'm pretty happy of my performance today though..

It's time to show some pilot's grit determination!

haha went tcc ytd to drink cuppucinno, then bought new earpiece..
been a long time since we went out like that haha..
then met up with another friend and cycled at ecp till the sky was really dark...
could hardly see the road haha..
but the scenery was really nice.. sea, sky, clouds, wind.. It's been a while since i enjoyed that..
haha.. but sadly, sch comes back once again zz..

haven flew for close to 2 weeks.. and it's my deciding sortie! most impt sortie for now.. sigh.. been going thru procedures after procedures to get me prepared.. flight simulator at home.. can't help much.. jst training my multi tasking.. okay and yea cannot taxy fast when turning.. got to use toe brakes to slow before turning.. must anticipate when lvling and straightening out.. got to remind to do filer checks, recognise and stay within boundaries.. okay i got to do it really well.. come on!

been studying hell lots for these 2, but the sorties nv seem to be come to me..
going thru cai, flight briefs and mental flying over and over again. wanna be 100% confident when i fly.

cleared climbing, descending and medium level turns today tho i wans't planned for sim today.
have to do multi-tasking loads: attitude, ah 30 degrees turn, asi, turn coordinator, altimeter, vsi.
repeating the sequence over and over again. sounds difficult, but once u get the hang of it, it'll come really natural to you.

adrenaline's pumping into me as i think bout the ct-4e. but since when flying isn't?
imagine dogfighting, hell lots of fighter instincts and trainings, hell lots of adrenaline-pumping manoeuvres. This is what I want, what i've been waiting for, what i've been training for. F-16, I'm coming.

CT-4E or Piper Warrior???
haven't decide yet..
there's gd things and bad things on the CT-4E..
It's an acrobatic plane and can withstand more Gs..fly faster, turn faster, and it's something like fighterjets canopy and joystick-kind instead of the control column on the pipers.
and the pilots get to wear helmets! okay maybe it's jst something new to me that's why i'm so facinated, but if there's only 1 CT-4E available and easily spoiled.. well, we'll see when the time comes..

yea i'm more of getting ready for the flight rather than worried.. but man, i hope ops plan me for more flights per week, i need to quicken my progress! my mates are catching up with me zzz....

I dunno what i'm worrying for..
I'm worried for loads of things, from flying, to CYA...

I'm extremely worried that I can't get on to phase 2, although people have been telling me that i'll be able to make it, why jst don't I feel confident enough? It's not as though I did not prepare for my flight or too lazy to put in any effort. I've put in dam lots of efforts and yet somehow, i'm lacing confidence.. I feel as though all eyes are on me, from flying instructors to friends.. I don't want to let anyone down, and especially myself. I can't let myself down, I have to pass it, I have to get though it.. It's the closest kind of plane that's pretty much like the fighter jets in the airforce.

gonna fly tmrw.. and i'm feeling pretty nervous..
so i'm writing now to ease off some tensions... i hope =)

well, someone of you asked me how's life like in syfc and stuffs..
haha.. hmm..
it's a place of dreams, but not the flower scenery or beautiful stuffs like this..
It's where people put in loads of effort to get their dreams moving in the right flight path..
A place of high discipline and determination.. In there, you've only got yourself and your squadmates to depend on, but mainly ( round 80%) on yourself..
Very seldom will you have a flying instructor spoon-feeding you like we were in secondary schools.

Planes will keep taking off and landing every few moments, during the 4 waves.
so safety is extremely important. A negligence on your part might get you out of syfc.
Lots of preparations need to be done before your flight, and a minimum of 8 hours of sleep.
you won't want to go up there sleepy-headed and unprepared. There is a heavy price to pay for it, trust me..

As for the scoldings.. haha well.. everyone will receive it.. it's jst sooner or later..
But no matter what, always bear in mind they scold you so that you'll improve and and change for the better.. And they will push you the extra mile if you're good and show some really good potential =)
Life's tough in there, but airforce gonna be much tougher.
Lot's of checks, from on-ground checks to in-flight checks, it's pretty difficult to memmorise in the start.. But there's a pattern to it, so yea =) afterawhile things will start to get better..
and till your checks become 2nd nature, be sure to keep on reading and do some mental flying or run through the checklist in ur mind.

One thing i feel is that you need to enter your plane feeling confident. You can't enter the plane feeling all emotional and down. There's no time to be emotional when you're in the airbase, whether in plane or on grounds.
So a kind and goodwill advice from me, dun listen to sad and emotional music before your flight, or the day before..
When you enter the airbase, be sure to leave all ur worries and sadness, dun care wat kind of sad feelings, leave it at the entrance, and after ur flight and your good flying results, you can then leave the airbase and collect ur feelings on the way too..

SYFC:

woke up so early in the morning..
had difficulty opening my eyes lol..
even when on the way to syfc LOL..
departure and rejoin procedures wasn't so complicated,
jst that everything was all taught at one time...
and altho we had round 3 times of departure and rejoin procedures,
it's difficult to get them all in the head..
BUT i'll get them all in my head.

Then had aircraft external self checks,
but no instructor was indicated nor was the time; on the timetable..
thus can't go out to the hangar to do the checks.
ZZZ had 1 hr and 45 mins of free time, including lunch haha..
went to sim rm and the WHOLE of 162 went in too..
watched round 20 or 30 times of repeated landing attempts xD
lol picked up some really really valuable skills from it.. lol learning jst by watching? =p it helps..

and FINALLY the alumnis brought us to do the aircraft external self checks, cockpit safety checks and pre-start checks.
lol, everything ran rather smoothly as i do the checks, such that the alumni asked if i memorised them LOL! then he told me to keep quiet and let others try xD oh man lol.. zzz..

then went back to sim rm and perform one almost perfect landing.
I could have done better by landing at round 2-4 knots slower, and it would have been perfect.
then requested to do everything from cockpit safety checks to take off under the watchful eye of an alumni..
had a few blankouts during some of the procedures, but i know that it's normal..
I must overcome it. i have to. I must do everything so perfectly that my flying instructor will be DAM impressed.

feeling abit happy about my effort,
but i'm willing to help anyone who might need my little guidance =)
sorry, not that i'm boasting bout what I've done,
but jst wanted to show the alumni that I've done it correctly and show it to myself too.
I'm jst being very determined. not proud..

then had many opportunities to talk to foreigners and help them out.

had this case, where this woman came to me and said she can't find her brother.
made an announcement but still can't find her brother.
she was really worried, and she took out the stuffs she bought to distract herself..
then she went to walk about, but later she came back..
this time, her face was really.. sad? pissed off?
her expression was really.. solemn..
guess wat? she lost her wallet, her money, identification stuffs too?

my god.. really really wanted to help her, but there's not much I can do..
then i hate myself alot.. for not being to help her at all.
except some motherhood statements like " do u rmb where u last seen ur wallet?"
felt dam useless.. wanted to go find her bro with her, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.
wanted to go find her wallet for her, but there's a high chance that someone else might have taken it already..

felt really sad for her, and angry with myself.
first time feeling totally useless,
want to help but can't.

I sincerely pray for her to find her brother as soon as possible,
and that none of the impt documents were lost in the wallet too..

Crap.. Cat 1 again, possible lightning strike..

was disappointed at first, having to come prepared so hard but not fly..
but after having the pre-flight briefing,
I think it was worth it to study so hard..

Managed to answer all his questions,

and taught my friend to use the comms control box infront of him LOL...
